Description
- The short rod blockbuster from Kevin Nash has changed the way a generation fishes. Challenging the norm with rods that perform without limits Scope is synonymous with the dedication and commitment of the very elite. For 2014 the ethos of Scope is underlined with the launch of the most complete collection of hardware for the dedicated carper ever available. Share a vision. Get Scope.
- Pushing boundaries even further into 2014, a bigger and better range of Scope rods take the blockbuster Nash short rod concept global. With an impact that has spread Europe wide and beyond the patented retractable butt and reduced travel length of Scope has changed attitudes to rod design for good, and brought fresh thinking to specialist angling everywhere.
- New additions respond to the tidal wave of demand for more power and even greater versatility – bringing the Scope benefits of improved control, enhanced performance and reduced travel length to a wider audience than ever. Finished with black reel fittings, overfit joints, ultra light SS04 ringing and Japanese shrink wrap handles, 2014’s Scope rods look like they perform – in a class of their own. Whether casting spods and marker floats 100 yards and more, drifting deadbaits, plugging for bass, or rigging up heavy feeders for barbel, Scope is fishing without limits.
9 / 10ft 2.75lb
- The softer side of Scope. These stunning blanks feature a real player’s action, and have made their mark from commercials to park lakes, as stalker and floater rods, and even tackling barbel on powerful rivers such as the Wye and Severn. Supremely accurate small water tools, but still capable of handling leads from 2-3 oz up to 90 yards / metres with ease, 2.75lb Scopes are forgiving enough for numerous specialist tasks as well as smaller water carping.
A word from Kevin Nash
- "A revelation of Scope is dramatically increased sensitivity through the blank, which is of immense significance both when feeling the lead down to pinpoint productive features, and when using marker rods. The transmission through a 9 or 10 foot Scope is dramatically increased over 12 foot rods, providing you with a different level of insight into the nature of a swim. Scope has taught us so much. The difference in feel, action and even accuracy is something traditional longer rods cannot compete with. Our biggest lesson testing the new Scope range was that test curves need to be looked at differently too. Many would shy away from 3.5 and 4.5lb test curves in 12 foot rods but in 9 and 10 foot Scopes they are brilliant all-rounders for 3 oz leads and bag work, and still play fish beautifully, bending right to the butt.”
