An extra large edition of Preston's popular hardcase pole safe. With more space available than the standard version. This has been designed to comfortably house eight individual Superium butt sections, or a pole with a multitude of top sections and spares. Featuring the same tough wipe clean outer shell with fasteners and a mesh pocket keeping everything secure inside.

Hi Steve,
It is not advertised as being waterproof but its hardcase outer shell, should provide a good layer of protection from the elements. I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the other case you are referring to. Sorry.
