why are these 5cm too short to fit in a standard carp rod? Both my Diawa 12ft rods dont fit but my Shimano 12fts do fit (just)

Hi Carl,
Preston do sell a hard case pole safe version that's wider and deeper. If you want to be sure the kit safe will take your pole, then measure the diameter of your margin pole and compare against the measurements on our website to give you an idea before you place your order.

These were launched as part of Preston's spring release. A lot of which we've already had in, at the moment we're expecting these around the end of this month.
