Description
The Dave Harrell No.1 Alloy Avons, a fantastic river float to trot in fast flowing conditions ideal for bigger baits like worm, sweetcorn & bread.Ddesigned for fishing with a bulk rig around two to three feet from the hook and one or two droppers, either No4 or No6 shot, below. The tip diameter of this float is critical in my opinion and you will notice that the diameters get progressively thicker as the floats get bigger. To help choose the right size of float, as a general guide, use 1g for every two feet of water. A fast flowing eight foot deep swim therefore requires a 4g float.

If I am ordering floats, how to I choose tip colour?

Hi Peter,
We (like most online retailers) don't allow you to choose your tip colours. Mainly because we ourselves cant specify tip colours from our suppliers. We do sell paint if you want to change the colour yourself.
