The Avid Carp AV8000 Reel, a ‘baby big pit’ the compact design equally adept at long range casting as it is on a short stalking rod setup. With a tapered spool which allows for almost friction free casting, and deep enough to be spooled up with heavy line if required. Fitted with a front drag system, which allows you to switch from free spool to a fish-playing drag quickly.
