Q

The Reuben Heaton thermometer. What is the purpose of the screw/spring mechanism at the end? Also, how long should the thermometer be left in the water to give the correct reading? Thanks.

By Paul Burrington - London - 10th Oct 2023
A
Hi Paul, The screw on the end adds weight for casting and also holds in the sample of water. The reading is pretty much just a few seconds of being in the water. Regards TackleUK
