Description
The Fox FX Explorer Barrow, possibly one of the most versatile transportation systems ever released to market. Designed with the day session angler in mind, they can also be adjusted for use on longer sessions where bedchairs and extra tackle is needed. The whole concept behind this is that when fishing shorter sessions you can leave the majority of your tackle on the barrow so that packing up and moving swims can be done quickly with minimum of fuss. This clever design also features an extendable front bag rack that can quickly convert to create more space for carrying extra tackle, like a bedchair. This conversion also redistributes the weight when extra items are added to ensure this remains balanced. Packed with features they come supplied with a drop-in central under frame bag that is styled in the Fox Camo pattern, along with two mesh storage pockets that sit either side of the wheel, that are perfect for storing items such as a 5ltr water bottle and/or bait. This has been designed to be the perfect transportation systems for short, day sessions. Both the central bag and two storage pockets feature zips on their sides allowing for quick and easy access to them without having to take any items off.

<p><font size="3">This item arrived extremely well packaged and needed assembly, it was a challenge removing the external packaging and more so the internal packaging! Assembly required fitting the rear leg combo, fitting the axel to the wheel and the retractable frame bag support.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Eight washers were supplied with the bolts which attach the leg assembly to the barrow but as there were no instructions for assembling the barrow it was not clear where to place them. I tried a variety of combinations and in the end settled for one which left four surplus washers? Once assembled the rear leg assembly opened and closed smoothly with a very low pofile.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Fitting the retractable front bag support was not an easy task since the four bars you had to insert into the front of the fram were not aligned correctly and required some force, once inserted the bag support required some force to slide it in and out, retractable? Yes but with an unacceptable level of difficulty. Hopefully with use it will become smoother though I have my doubts.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">The axel was fitted to the wheel and the barrow assembled. I have not used this as yet so cannot comment on it's functionality.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">You do need at least three tools to assemble this barrow and to be fit and healthy.</font></p>
<p><font size="3">Personally I can't understand why this barrow is not supplied already assembled as it has such a low profile when assembled and folded it would only have required a slightly wider cardboard box. It would be worth paying a little extra not to have to assemble it! I would like to stress this is the first barrow I have had to assemble! I will try and update this once I have used it in the 'field'.</font></p>
