Description
The Hybrid Wide Gape B featuring the same pattern as the wide gape, but slightly heavier in the gauge to make the hook hold more secure. There is no barb to impede penetration so the thicker wire helps to keep the hook in. We have only made the in-turned point pattern barbless because in-turned points stay in better once they are in because the hook has to turn out the same way it went in which is difficult. A great hook on waters that ban barbed hooks.

These hooks have fast become one of the must-have items in my tackle box and I use them for the majority of my bottom-bait rigs. Featuring an inturned eye and a beaked hook point, they are an excellent choice for boilie fishing. When using this pattern I always add a small piece of shrink tubing to the hook, which encourages it to flip in the carps mouth. They are Teflon coated and super-sharp straight from the packet. I have caught carp of all sizes using these and I really cannot fault them. They are super-reliable and consistently provide excellent hook-holds.
