Hi Chris,
The hempseed is supplied in a tin, if you choose to open it and keep some back in your freezer it will no doubt keep longer. As to how long, I have no idea.

For years I used to spend hours soaking and then cooking hemp and tares on the hob and in the oven, stinking the house out in the process!
Now, thanks to Dynamite Baits the house doesn%u2019t smell any more and, as an added bonus, the bait that is inside the tins is equally as good as the bait I used to cook myself. The hemp is what I%u2019d describe as medium-sized seeds, which are perfect for feeding and for hook baits. If you want to use the really big stuff for the hook, though, you%u2019ll still need to get hold of some and cook it yourself (if that%u2019s the case I%u2019d recommend you cook up a decent batch of big seeds for hookers and freeze it).
The other really great thing about these tinned baits of course is that you can carry them in your bait bag as many times as you want, before you need to use them, so there%u2019s no waste.
