Description

The Premier TipMaster X-Treme is extreme for a reason, the ultra-sensitive tips are longer and much more sensitive than a standard quiver tip, which enable it to be used in almost all conditions. Based on the popular Side Winder, and performing in much same way. These only move when you get a bite so you don’t have to worry about how strong the wind becomes. They will fit all rods, thanks to the E-Z fit rod attachment and can be fitted to the rod without breaking it down.

Supplied with 3 quiver tips and comes with a free spare "O-Ring". The colour coded tips cover most water types and fishing situations. Yellow = Supersoft. Red = Medium. Orange = Stiff. It offers all the benefits of tip fishing but angles the angler to fish facing the swim rather than sideways on. It is extremely simple to fit to just about any rod and the screw fitting on the block allows any tip with a standard screw plug to be used. Nothing comes close to the sensitivity and control of this in windy conditions.

Q

Easis Best way to thread line onto extreme premier tipmaster

By Michael Woodward - Sandbach - 7th Feb 2022
A
Hi Michael, The tip eye on the quivertip is coiled to allow you to pass your mainline through. So you can set your rod up as per usual and attach one of these on after. Regards TackleUK

I've been useng these indicators for about 15 years in one form or another. When fishing standard feeder or ledger tactics on still or slow moving waters you can't beat them. The current one is the MK3. Basicly it consists of a rubber block witch fits on the rod butt and three sensitive tips. Once you have decided which strength tip to use, you just thread the line through the tip ring and fish with the rod pointing straight at your hookbait. They were originaly designed for bream anglers to enable them to fish in rough and windy conditions on lakes and drains were a normal quivertip would be difficult to read. A major advantage is you're able to fish at long range 60/70yds with a 1oz tip giving you incressed sensitivety which is something you can't do with a normal tip rod. Pros : The indicator is unafected by the wind and being sited just in front of the angler he is able to read the bite much easier. Cons : The way the line is threded though the tip ring could be made easier maybe by replacing the coiled tip with a gated one (the type found on a necklace)
