Hello. Is the tip solid or tubular?

Hi Ed,
Even though we have them in stock, there's no way for us to tell if they're hollow tipped. That being said most lure rods we sell with a solid tip will mention this in the features. As Penn haven't, its probably hollow.

What size reel would you put on this? 3000? 4000?

Hi'Ellenore,
An ultralight rod like that needs a small ultralight reel to go with. Something like a 3000/4000 size is just to big. Something around a 2000 size would be ideal and provide a good balance.
