Description
The Drennan Acolyte Pro Margin Carp Pole is stiff and lightweight and super strong to cope with hard fighting fish at close range. Also makes a great spare, or back up with the top kits and sections from No.3 to No.7 interchangeable with the rest of the Acolyte Pro range. Built on the same mandrel as the Pro model, but even stronger. That means the top kits (not individual sections 1 & 2) and sections three to seven can potentially interchange between these two models. This is very useful if you need an even stronger pole for heavy duty margin fishing or simply want a spare or ‘back-up’ pole at significantly reduced cost. As with the other Acolyte poles the male & female joints are reinforced to help reduce wear and prolong pole life.

If I was to elasticate one of the top kits with Drennan orange 20+ bungee hollow elastic and use the pole for carp next to lilies or down the edge. What diameter hook link would you recommend using ?
