- Strong enough for fishing for carp in marginal areas, it retains enough balance to lure F1’s at a decent range too thanks to the mini extension! Includes two Power Top 2 kits – which are ready to fish, whilst there is a Roller Pulla Bush and PTFE bush fitted, all of which come supplied in PC tubes for protection in transit.

Hi, are both top kits rated for up to 20 elastic. What is the top kit bore for this pole if I wanted to used different brands with it.

Hi David,
The top kits don't carry an elastic rating. But talking to our in house Preston guy, he says they will comfortably handle up to a 19 Preston elastic. If you want to go higher you will probably want to swap out the puller for a larger one. As for the bore on these, Preston haven't published that info.

Anything up to a 19 should be suitable for the pole, If you were waiting to us a larger elastic, you would need to purchase a larger pulla kit. 'I'm afraid this doesn't come already elasticated.

Hello. What size is the pre fitted bush? Also can you use a standard bung on this pole rather than the pulla kit without creating issues ? Thank you for your time Kind Regards

Hi James,
Not sure on the actual size of the PTFE bush but as its rated to a 20+ elastic it'll be a fairly wide bore. If you really want to use a standard bung instead of benefitting from using a side puller kit, you can. But landing large carp on a pole is a lot easier with a puller kit.
