Hi I ve just purchased the x30 the only question I have is the cupping kit telescopic if so my top section is tight to pull through the rubber gromit is this normal and do I leave the crows foot plastic on the small section when I put together do I need to cut back to glue pole pot bracket on . No instruction come with cupping kit to explain what to do to put together never don t this before

Hi John,
I've put this to our resident Preston guy, and he says those cupping kits are telescopic. It should be a tight fit, and you definitely need those crows feet left on. You should get two different sized cup brackets in the kit, one will be a snug fit, and you shouldn't be forcing them on. Forcing on the thinner bracket may damage the top kit.

The mini extension I got with the x30 only fits the 14 1/2m and 16m sections does not fit the 13m section do you have to buy one to fit the 13m section thanks 👍

Can i change the f1 kits to match kits at all because i fish next to margins and features all the time i dont like fishing open water or catching f1's

The pole kits come to us as supplied by Preston, so there's no option to configure your own. The match kits are however available to but separately if you want some more.
