A longer edition of Cresta's incredibly popular 175 compact rod and reel case designed to take your two piece 12ft rods along with your longer 3 piece float and feeder rods too. Manufactured to all the high standards of the original. With a soft touch inner lining and protective foam insert on both sides keeping everything super secure.

Hi can this secure safely to a roof rack and is it waterproof

Hi Kevin,
Its not sold as being something that's designed to go on a roof rack, and I'm not sure how you'd go about securing it in place. The outer though is very much waterproof.

It says it will take a 12ft 2pc but my waggled is 13ft 2pc, will this fit?

Hi Wayne,
If your 13ft waggler rod breaks down into sections that are 190cm or less, then they will fit.

Hi John,
The case doesn't have any built-in locking function. It is fastened with two zips, there's no reason why a padlock couldn't be put through these, but we wouldn't be able to guarantee how secure it would be.
I'm afraid we wouldn't really be able to advise regarding the roof rack as it would depend on numerous variables.

Hi, first of all this looks like a really nice bit of kit. My question is, would this take 12ft Harisson carp rods with the reels? I can see it refers to match rods but just wondering if the bigger reels would also fit in. Kind Regards Danny

Hi Danny,
They will probably be able to accommodate the rods, but the reels will be a problem. The recess on the case just doesn't look big enough to take a big pit reel.
