1, Does this reel have anti reverse?. 2, If so I would want to use it with an 9ft lure rod 15-40 g for pike fishing, 4000 size?. What is the spool line capacity for braid I was thinking of something about 40lb breaking strain?. thanks in anticipation Mike.

Hi Mike,
It has an anti reverse bearing, so it definitely has an anti reverse. I have a similar setup myself but use a 2500 sized reel with a 10-30g rod and I find that gives a nice balance. If you're going for the 4000, then a strong braided line is a good idea. The spools on these have a grippy centre to the spool to ensure the braid doesn't slip under pressure. The specs for these only gives the line capacity for mono. So you'll need to find a braid that gives us
