Description
The Akios Nano-Tech Sport Uptide Boat Rod 9ft 6in and with a 4-8oz casting weight. Manufactured from the signature carbon fibre Non-Tech blank featuring the PBS Power Band System that gives improved tip sensitivity. Outfitted with quality components including Sea Guide rings and guides, a DPS style screw winch reel seat and a durable EVA handle. They're fitted feature a specialist rolled glass tip section that has enough give to allow leads to hold bottom under heavy tidal tow.

What type of reel is best suited to this rod ?

Hi John,
If you want to stick with Akios for the reel they do make a few suitable options. Something like the Akios Airloop R8 Black Edition would be ideal. I've put a link in below to all the larger Akios fixed spools.
