Description
The Guru N-Gauge Specimen Duel tip rod range, guru's take on the versatile and ever popular Avon style rod. Offering a range of test curves from 1.35lb to 1.75lb, each with both a traditional solid top plus a quivertip section. They come supplied with two interchangeable quivertips allowing you to step up or down as the conditions dictate. The blanks themselves are built from 30 and 40 Ton carbon fibre and feature a pleasing progressive action. They're fitted with Seaguide rings plus a Seaguide DPS style reel seat.

Does the solid Avon section have the top eye with a screw in facility? If not do you have another rod with this option you could recommend.

Hi Terry,
Since swing tips fell out of fashion, rods supplied with a screw in tip are extremely rare these days. None of the many brands and manufacturers we deal with produce them anymore. We used to sell the screw threaded tip eyes so you could remove and replace your own, but they've since been discontinued.
