Q

Hi, I am looking for a good beach rod as a present for someone, please recommend what reel to use with this rod? Thank you

By Millie-Ann - Kent - 13th Jun 2022
A
Hi Millie-Ann, Those rods are available with two different reel fittings to take either a fixed spool, or a multiplier reel. Some anglers will stick with a fixed spool, which is typically easier to use. But if you want to get the best from these in terms of casting distance and performance we'd always recommend a multiplier. If you contact our customer services team with a preferred option, and a price in mind. They'll be able to come up with a series of options for you. J

Q

It maybe a silly question, but is this for 1 rod or 2 only reasons, 2 are shown in the main photo and the description says rods, but I was unable to see further details in the description. Many thanks

By Josh c - South wales - 3rd Apr 2022
A
Hi Josh, There are three different length versions of that rod. We'd normally list them all together and put all the options in a dropdown, but in this case they've been listed separately.' https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/RodsBeachcastingRods/Anyfish-Anywhere-Six-and-Bait-MK2-Rods-15ft.htm <a href="https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/RodsB

Q

Hi lm looking to buy a anyfish anywhere rod but l use a fixed spool reel & a multiplier so what rod eye rod would be best for me

By Gavin - Tyne & wear - 9th Jan 2022
A
Hi Gavin, Those rods come in a choice of Multiplier, or fixed spool options. The main difference is the eyes on the fixed spool are slightly larger. So I'd go for the fixed spool one. Regards TackleUK

Q

Hi. Will this rod be good to use over rough ground? Thanks.

By Tony Atkinson - Newcastle - 24th Dec 2021
A
Hi Tony, The Six & Bait MK2 is an ideal all rounder and will cope with rougher ground conditions but if your looking for a dedicated heavy duty rod its also worth considering the Grand Prix Pro. https://www.tackleuk.co.uk/Shop/RodsBeachcastingRods/AnyFish-Anywhere-Grand-Prix-Pro-Rod.htm Regards TackleUK
