You can use whatever line you prefer however bear in mind that rod is marketed for UK sea angling.

Can this be used with fixed spool and multiplier reels?

Hi Elliot,
Yes, it should be able to be used with both, it does have a fixed reel seat though, so would be more suited to a fixed spool.
