Description
A heavy duty series of boat rods from the specialists at Penn, ideal for taking on larger species like skate and conger. Featuring a super strong one piece glass blank, outfitted with high quality SeaGuide aluminium oxide guides. Reliable secure reel seats, graphite on 20-50lb model, and machined aluminium on the others keep a secure grip on the reel. A triangular EVA grip handle helps reduce rod rotation and Penn’s slick butt that prevents the rod butt getting damaged when sat in the rod holder.

is this boat rod a match for the Penn Squall 2 level wind reel (20) as the name suggests?

Hi Robert,
We're only now selling the one size option for those boat rods, the 20 to 50lb version. The reel size you mention should make a good match but we're currently out of stock of the Size 20. We do have more on back order, but the suppliers web ordering system is currently out of action so I can't tell you when they'll actually arrive.''
