Introducing the latest edition of ESP's dedicated floater rods, now carrying a stepped up 2.75lb test curve. With an overall complete through action and a soft tip with plenty of give to prevent hook pulls. They can comfortably cope with heavier long range controllers of up to 80g and come fitted with minima style guides and a Fuji DPS reel seat. A great choice for pursuing large carp on the surface with plenty of backbone to cope with heavy summer weed growth.

Hi, Normally for floater fishing I'd use 8/10lb hooklinks, 12 if weedy, and 12lb line. I can't find any information on line rating for this rod and am just a bit concerned with it being 2.75 test curve how it would fare. Do you have any information on this please?

Hi Pete, Unfortunately ESP do not provide us with line rating I’m afraid. A 12lb line for rod this should be fine to use. Regards TackleUK.
