The Shimano Aero X3 Precision Feeder 10ft 60g features a full carbon blank with Shimano Diaflash technology for increased responsiveness. Ideal for shorter range work on commercial fisheries, and supplied with three tip options. They come equipped with premium lightweight Seaguide XOC guides, so they're safe for use with braided mainline. Plus a high quality Fuji DPS reel seat and smart cork/EVA handle.

considering the high casting weight of 60g for a 10ft rod i would like to know the strengths of the quiver tips. in addition what does the quiver tip strength mean in practice?

Hi Robert,
The tips supplied with these are 0.75, 1.00 & 1.50oz. In practice your tip choice is normally dictated by the venue and conditions your facing, as well as the size of feeder your using. So the light 0,75 tip is ideal on slow moving river and stillwaters with smaller feeders. The heaviest 1.50oz great for larger feeders on running water.
Also FYI we're out of stock of these at the moment. While they are still available on the Shimano B2B ordering system, there isn't any stock due until later next year.
