First time I have bought a new rod in 20 years and I am well pleased with this one.. I used it for some surface fishing with bread and mixer last week. Quite impressed with its ability to put bait in just the right place and it has a nice feel to it. It was probably a little under powered for the 18lb common that took me by surprise but it handled it ok.
<p>I bought this to float fish the margins , absolutely superb rod!</p>
