These are gret value for money rods, but way overgunned for general coarse fishing with a float. If you've had a good look through our travel rods you'll see options for carp, sea and lure anglers and one or two fly options. But nothing in terms of a dedicated match rod. My best suggestion would be to go for a medium weight spinning rod, something like the'
Shimano Alivio Slim Tele Spin 9ft that's'currently on sale would be ideal.

They are not the same size, the 10ft is approximately 3.75 ft un extended and the 12ft is approximately 4.10 ft un extended, hope this helps.

Although they're not sold as pike rods. I have seen anglers using telescopic rods and the newer style rods with the extendable butt sections for Pike, with no complaints. If your looking for a few different suggestions in addition to the Eos Pro. If you drop a message to the guys in the customer service team by filling out a support ticket on our website. They'll be able to come back with some suggestions from other brands too.
