Description
Frozen black lug, a great go to bait option for a wide variety of species, and very handy if you struggle to source your own fresh blow lug. Supplied in individual wraps of 10 worms, ideally defrosted in saltwater. Can be combined together to make up a bigger sized bait using a baiting needle. They can also be used to bulk out live blow lug hookbaits and will prove highly effective for Cod, Bass. You can also fish them individually or in sections for targeting smaller inshore species like whiting, dabs and pouting.

Although every care is taken to ensure your frozen item arrives in a good condition, we ask that you read and understand the below before placing an order with Frozen products:
- All frozen baits will be packaged securely in bubble wrap with gel freezer packs to try and keep them cool for as long as possible whilst in transit.
- Delivery is usually the next working day following dispatch. We do not dispatch frozen orders on a Friday or near a Bank Holiday.
- You will receive a confirmation email when your order has been dispatched so this will give you an idea of when your parcel will be delivered.
- Please ensure that someone will be available to accept the delivery, we will not be held liable for spoiled bait if no one is available to accept it.
- The order should be delivered 24-36 hours from the time the order has been packed. This means that the bait will defrost before it reaches you, this is perfectly normal but we recommend refreezing the item as soon as it is received.
- If you have ordered dead bait, sometimes your bait may have redness/blood to it. This is common and to be expected. The bait is still absolutely fine to use.
- You are ordering frozen bait over the internet which will take time to be delivered, the bait will not be as fresh as when it was originally packed from the sea, lake or river but it will still be perfectly good to use and will catch you many fish.

Are the frozen black lug proper black lug ie leather type Dunggie 6"-10" blacks or are they blow lug?

Its not something I've personally tried and I imagine it would potentially turn to mush. Nothing to stop you giving it a go though.

I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you have kept them very cold, I normally take mine out wrapped in newspaper with ice packs, then just take what I need, they defrost quickly. Refreezing makes them very soft next time you use them.

The worm arrived well packaged and even kept in its frozen state in my car overnight (due to the cold weather!!) prior to using it in the Bristol Channel.
I ordered the worm on line as I could not be sure of the availability of it at my venue.
I was right to do this ,as, I could not get any on the day.
It definitely gave me the edge on our boat, and I would not hesitate to do the same again.
