is 15lb sensor clear a suitable line to put onto the 8000 model and use with a 13ft. beachcaster rod?

Hi Robert, 15lb should be fine, if used with a shock leader, but if you didn't plan on using one, we recommend to go slightly heavier around 20lb. We would recommend to use a shock leader though. Hope this helps. Kind regards Tackleuk
