Not bad for 30 quid. Sturdy, quite well made. My only gripe is that the bottom rod cup part comes loose on occasion, for reasons best known to the person who designed this tripod. You need to be careful because it's easily lost if it comes loose in the dark on a beach. It's probably worth paying an extra fiver and getting a Ian Golds Supermatch.
