Korda's Mouthtrap has been designed to create the ultimate stiff rig in an easy, hassle-free manner. During testing there is one element that particularly stood out, the fact that it is easier to manipulate than any other stiff material on the market. Without the extra hassle of steaming over a piping hot kettle which takes up valuable fishing time and extra effort. Due to its unique make-up and high memory, the material retains a perfect curve when formed. Consequently, it creates the perfect hinged-stiff rig or chod rig.

Id heard whispers about this release for a little while before it hit the shelves. In fact, because Korda made sure to test the product I actually saw it in use this spring. So, whats it all about? Well, its a chod filament thats a little different from the others on the market because its a lo-viz green. Korda claims that its easier to work with than some of the other materials available and it certainly is easy to manipulate. Time will tell if it becomes the number-one choice for stiff-rig aficionados, though. Its available in 15lb, 20lb and 25lb breaking strains and is supplied on 20m spools.
