Hello, sorry new to the sport and was wondering what size would I need for course fishing local rivers and carp lakes? Thank you

Hi Chris,
Sort of depends on what your fishing for, but to give you an idea. The size 8 is the standard size used in carp fishing, you'll find most ready made rigs and bits are usually based around this size. Also ideal for predator fishing if your building your own lure traces.
