Description
Greys Fin Fishing Trousers, tough all weather clothing designed to protect you from wind, rain, and snow. Manufactured from Taslon 320D fabric and with the latest C6 DWR water repellent surface treatment giving them an 8000mm HH rating. With an extended back around the waist for better weather protection. Two vertical pockets fitted with water repellent zippers and a thigh pocket with flap. Plus Reinforcement around the base of the leg and adjustable Velcro closure.

The sizing is strange as I cannot make sense of the waist sizes in cm - I am a 34 inch waist which size is a good match ?

Not sure where on earth those sizes came from but I agree, they make no sense. Having gone to the Greys website though I can clearly see where we may have got some duff info. I have managed to find some more realistic sizes from another source that should clarify things for you.
Small - 30"-32"
Medium - 32"-34"
Large - 34"-36"
X-Large - 36"-38"
XX-Large - 38"-40"
XXX-Large - 40"-42"

Are these overtrousers or can they be worn as ordinary trousers?

They're not advertised as having a lining so to speak so Id say thy're probably best worn as overtrousers.
