Hi John,
They are the gunmental grey versions but the spool has some additional gold trim around the base and around the drag at the top.

Well pleased with these reels, they have got a feel of a much more expensive reel.
Brought one of these to use as a spod reel. Awesome piece of kit for the money. Quick line retrieval and good line lay. Recommend highly
Bought 3 of these for a trip to France but have not had the chance to use them here yet.
First impressions are of a very well made reel with a high standard of finish for such a low price plus you get a spare spool.. BONUS.
I originally purchased 3xTFG Vantage Distance Reels from another site which were more expensive but not a patch on these. So glad i sent the TFG's back and bought these instead.
Ive not seen a bad comment on any of the carp forums when i was looking into them.
I know they are big pit reels but they are REALLY BIG. These only just fit into my camostrene ready rod holdall when attached to my rods made up.

Brought this reel a few months ago very pleased with it. I have played many scrapy carp on these since and yet have not lost one fish with them. I generally use them for all my fishing but I used them as a spod reels and they work brilliantly. They have a very smooth and quick retrieve which makes spodding so much easier. It also is very nice to play fish on the reels because the quick multi-disk drag is very smooth and changes instantly.
