is this pole compatible to GXR / GIS poles, I have a GXR 2600 but lost my no.5

Hi Peter,
I honestly don't know if they are, given the GXR is nearly 10 years old it would seem unlikely. To get a definitive yes/no answer you're better off asking Preston themselves. They have a contact messaging system via their website.

Ill remove the original answer, your right it's nonsense.
So Preston don't publish any weights for their pole range these days, and haven't for some time. They're not alone in this, other manufacturers eg. MAP do the same as its felt the strength and rigidity are more important. If'your looking for a new pole and'weight is a deciding factor, Daiwa and Matrix still publish these details.
