With a second rated up to an impressive 350g, ideal for handling big baits and big leads in rougher conditions. Manufactured from a high quality blend of 30T/40T carbon fibre, reinforced with their signature X -wrap technology. Fitted out with top quality components like saltwater proof Fuji Alconite guides, to help prevent tangles plus a special X wrap handle for improved grip when casting. is the penn xr 540 for both fixed reels and multi reel

These have a fixed reel seat rather than a sliding one or coasters normally associated with multiplier rods.

Please can you tell me what colour this rod is? It looks green on the photo. Also is it suitable for both fixed spool and multiplier reels?

Hi Geoff,
That's correct the rod is green. I'm afraid as the rod is one of our 6-10-day dispatch items, we don't physically have it in our warehouse, so I am unable to check for you. it looks to be a for use with fixed spools, but wouldn't be able to confirm. Sorry we can't help further today.
