I have a pedal kayak and had a motor that mounted in the pedal drive bay. I'd like to use this mount with the minn kota endura c2 trolling motor. This will require removing the transom mount that it comes with. Is this possible? Also because the drive bay is in front the seat on my kayak I need the controls to face the same direction as the propellor, therefore, is it possible to rotate the head of the motor through 180 degrees?

Whilst we do sell the motors, we have very limited knowledge in house of how to fit and install them. Try messaging the team at Minn Kota direct for some advice, they should at least be able to tell you if mounting the motor that way is possible. They do have a comprehensive help section in the contact us section of their website that may also help

Hi Tony,
Min Kota's website has some useful info on how to choose the right motor for your boat. There's also wiring guides and diagrams and advice on choosing and setting up the batteries too. It also explains that the length of shaft needed is dependent on how high up the engine is mounted on your boat. I've provided links below to the pages that should help you pick the right one.

Hi - what is their power arrangements. Do they need to be attached to an onboard electric battery, or are they pre-charged and ready to use without the need for an on-board battery. What is their re-charge time?

You'll need a 12 volt battery onboard, they aren't supplied with the motor.
